摘要

In this paper, accurate two-dimensional finite element models of an asynchronous motor under different fault conditions are established and analyzed using finite element analysis software, Ansoft. The variations of electromagnetic field distribution and performance curves derived by transient simulation according to three common types of motor faults (locked rotor, unbalanced three-phase power supply, and interturn short circuit) are compared and the results provide theoretical basis for fault diagnosis and optimal design of asynchronous motor.
