The method involves generating a two-phase Park model (1b) of a three-phase system from a three-phase model of the three-phase system, and generating a single input single output model with complex parameters from the two-phase Park model. A single input single output regulator is calculated with complex parameters for the single input single output model with the complex parameters. A three-phase regulator is calculated from the single input single output regulator. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for calculating a three-phase regulator of a three-phase system (2) a computer program comprising instructions to perform a method for calculating a three-phase regulator of a three-phase system (3) a method for manufacturing a control device of a three-phase system.
