In recent years, increasing attention is paid to the methods of extraction of viscous and highly viscous oil. Known methods are described in the literature and some of them are successfully applied to the present. One of the promising methods is the HPAI. Currently, there is no systematic and comprehensive approach to evaluating the effectiveness of HPAI for the recovery of viscous and high- viscous oil. It leads to considerable risk in the efficiency of the HPAI and the final grade oil. This work includes theoretical and experimental studies of the processes associated with HPAI. A large number of geological and physical parameters responsible for the process of HPAI are reduced to the analysis of two -dimensional parameters Damkohler and Ostrogradski - Arrhenius. The results of calorimetric studies of the oxidation process in differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and estimate the kinetic parameters are given. Multiple calculations on a mathematical model of unsteady non-isothermal multiphase flows with phase transitions have been carried out to select the basic dimensionless parameters, the solubility of the reaction components and the low-temperature and high-temperature oxidation of the hydrocarbon. The conditions of the processes of fire and support combustion, obtained in the field of graphic coordinates of two dimensionless parameters were defined. The use of dimensionless parameters enabled an express assessment of the effectiveness of HPAI for specific fields.
