Architect's dream list 1.2

摘要

There are many potentially interesting ideas and concepts that architects and engineers truly would like to see being developed or advanced at a much faster rate. They often do not get the attention that they deserve or fall by the wayside because communication and exchange of ideas within the constructions industry is not always sufficient and instead products get developed that few architects' desire. This paper steps back and discusses big picture items that an internationally operating Architectural and Engineering Firm would like to see being worked on by the glass industry to advance the state of technology. Some of the topics are aesthetic in nature and try to make buildings more beautiful, others are performance related to enhance the user comfort and make buildings perform with less of an impact on the environment.
