Preface: The 4th Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Symposium (NNS2011)

摘要

Nanoscience and Nanotechnology are keywords for national development in the future and is predicted to generate the next revolution in human civilization and will induce new values in nearly all aspects in people lifestyles. With respect to the research field, the Physics of Electronic Materials Research Division, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), in conjunction with the Materials Research Society of Indonesia (MRS-ID) have organized the 4th international symposium on nanoscience and nanotechnology (NNS2011) at Bali, Indonesia on September 23-25, 2011. More than 100 delegates from 10 countries attending the symposium, sharing new knowledge and exchanging the knowledges and ideas in the field. The presentations were presented through two plenary lectures, three invited lectures, 91 orals and 26 posters. The submitted manuscripts were reviewed thoroughly by experts in the field and have been selected to be published in this proceedings based on originality and novelty of idea, appropriateness in the field and importance of the work in the present context, appropriateness of the scope of the journal and clarity of presentation.
