Stochastic mechanics of relativistic fields

摘要

After a brief review of stochastic mechanics of nonrelativistic particle systems, the paper discusses in a qualitative way issues concerning the application of stochastic mechanics to relativistic fields and their relation to quantum field theory. It is suggested that gauge theories will be essential to this program.
