At just seven months into the process, AtSite has identified just over $900,000 in operational energy savings opportunities, which already surpasses the first year target of $800,000. Additional opportunities will be observed in the heating season as well as future shoulder and cooling seasons. Additionally, AtSite has only recently added data for about half of the main campus's major air handlers, and plans are in place to incorporate more data in subsequent phases such as VAV boxes, reheat coils, fan coil units, heat exchangers, hot water pumps, and steam traps. By incorporating more equipment into the AOCx program, AtSite will assist the hospital to exceed their energy savings goals for years to come while helping them save capital by reducing wear and tear on equipment, improve tenant comfort by increasing equipment reliability and realizing increased efficiencies throughout the facilities department.
