This paper presents the utilisation of continuous Ant Colony Optimisation method with application to modelling of flexible beam structure. In this work, a continuous Ant Colony Optimisation algorithm has been formulated to obtain a parametric model of flexible beam structure and a study of parameter selection of the proposed ACO_R in system identification scheme is carried out.
