The evaluation of the several factors involved in an Internet of Things design is a complexity activity. Although there are some systems models to evaluate Internet of Things design alternatives, few models identify and emphasize - at the same time - the importance of the interrelationship among the various technical components and among non-technical dimensions of these components. A design evaluation system model allows quantification of the technical and non-technical components that are the most difficult to be implemented, and that demands greater attention. This work defines the BRICS MOSAIC Model and the Feasibility Barriers Factors to evaluate Internet of Things system solutions. It is a model that quantify, through the developers experience and analysis of application scenarios, a numerical relationship that allows the identification of barriers to Internet of Things solution development. The Feasibility Barriers Factors allow the identification of each component, or dimension, that will affect the system development process.
