The article deals with actual problems wastewater treatment plant with optimal operation and reduction consumption from the external sources. If a part of the process took a lot of energy, it could result in reduction efficiency of another part of the process. In introduction we describe complex of interconnection individual process in the wastewater treatment plant. We deal with processes of technological parts and we discuss about problems of own consumption this plants. In the next part we solve options how we reduce costs, when we used renewable energy sources. First option is drying sludge using heat from renewable sources or cogeneration unit and second solution weights up using water of outflow. In conclusion of the article we describe parameters of heat pumps and calculate save cost when we heat digester tank from heat pump.
