Cyber-bullying represents a raising form of bullying in the last years due to the fast development of the new technologies. Youngsters are the most receptive to the technological changes and implicitly, they are more likely to become cyber-bullies or cyber-bullying victims. Latest studies at international level on the problematic show an alarming growth of cyber-bullying incidents.The present paper aims, after researching and analysing the latest studies, to answer to the questions: what is cyber-bullying? how does cyber-bullying work? who are the main victims targeted by cyber-bullies? and how can the cyber-bullying phenomenon can be reduced?
