The nodal concept of efficient, sustainable and equitable city requires a radical reversal in the mode of living and conceiving the urban realm and its spaces. Modern urban landscapes appear to suffer negative outcomes produced by an idea of order tending to segregate urban functions. Urban roads and spaces must be conceived as a medium of a vast information exchange and as a pleasant place designed for people.
