A novel hybrid spread spectrum system is introduced in this paper, which increases the spectrum efficiency by using the scheme combining conventional M1-ary orthogonal spread spectrum with M2-ary phase shift keying. The antijamming performance of the new system is analyzed and compared with DS/FH hybrid spread spectrum system. The simulation results illustrate that this novel hybrid spread spectrum system can provide more anti-jamming abilities than DS/FH system in the same spectrum efficiency.
