Study on the preparation of Flexible Graphite Composites

摘要

Flexible Graphite Composite (FGC) was prepared using flexible graphite as the basic material. The influence of the contents of binder and carbon fiber, and forming temperature and pressure was discussed on the mechanical properties. The experimental results showed that the optimum technologic conditions are binder A content 3%~10%, carbon fiber 0.5%~1%, forming temperature 500°C~900°C, forming pressure 18MPa~25MPa. The density, tensile strength, compressive strength, and bending strength are optimal under these conditions.
