The Status and Trends of Edible Vegetable Oil Processing Industry in China——The Speech in 14th ICC Cereal and Bread Congress and Forum on Fats Oils

Good morning,ladies and gentleman.Firstly,please let me address my congratulations to the opening of the 14th ICC Cereal and Bread Congress and Forum on Fats & Oils in Beijing.Here I would like to share with you my view on current situation and future trends in vegetable oil processing industry in China.1 The production and consumption of oil seeds as well as oils & fats in China 1.1 The production of oil seeds In China,we remain committed to grow economy and improve people's livelihood.To serve this goal,we focus on grain production,with a priority given to increase oil seeds production.And then,the outputs have ramped up continuously.Rapeseed,soybean,peanut,cotton seed,sunflower seed,sesame,camellia oleifera seed and flaxseed are the top 8 types of oilseeds planted in China.The overall outputs rose from 35.245 million tons in 1990 to 58.114 million tons in 2010,with a jump of 64.9％,averaging 3.2％ increase per year in the 20 years.Details were shown in table 1.各位嘉宾、各位代表:大家上午好!首先让我们再一次祝贺"第十四届国际谷物科技与面包大会暨国际油料与油脂科技发展论坛"今天在中国北京召开.下面我就中国食用植物油加工业的简况及今后发展趋势介绍些情况,供参考.一、中国油脂油料的生产与需求简况(一)油脂油料生产简况为满足国民经济发展和人民生活水平不断提高的需要,国家在发展粮食生产的同时,高度重视发展油脂油料生产,促使了油脂油料生产不断提高.根据统计,我国油菜籽、大豆、花生、棉籽、葵花籽、芝麻、油茶籽、亚麻籽等八大油料产量由1990年的3524.6万吨上升到2010年的5811.4万吨,增长64.9％,平均年增长3.2％(表1).
