Die Correction for Seam Weld Lines - A Non-Conventional Approach

Seam weld lines are a well-known problem in all anodized aluminum extrusion profiles. By relocating the weld chambers away from the exposed surface, the problem could be solved to a large extent. However, some profiles have almost all surfaces as exposed surfaces. Many customers demand an anodized finish without any weld lines. Gulf Extrusions has taken up the issue seriously and has been continuously working on this issue for last three years. It is a combined work in the extrusion, Die shop and anodizing areas. A combined effort in all of these areas could only bring a fruitful result.
