Key Remote Sensing Technology of Precision Fruits in Guangdong Province - A Case Study of Lychee

摘要

Precision fruits system is based on new tools and sources of information provided by modern technologies, such as the global positioning systems (GPS), remote sensing (RS), geographic information system (GIS) and variable-rate technologies. The study introduced foreign and domestic situation of precision fruits in detail. The precision lychee planting of Guangdong province was presented as a case study. The key remote sensing and computer technologies in precision fruits were analyzed, and the theory and practical application of spectral diagnosis of soil-leaf nutrient was emphasized. Based on remote sensing technology, an integrated precision fruits system of Guangdong province was established, including basic geographic database, spectral diagnosis model, decision support system and portable farm equipments. The study shows that remote sensing technology is one of the keys to establish high quality and efficiency, ecological, safety precision lychee farming techniques system of Guangdong province, and provides technical support for an increase in income of lychee farmer and a decrease in non-point pollution of lychee farming.
