This article discussed the equipment using in modern printing and dyeing industry of Shanghai, made a specific analysis on the equipment of scouring and bleaching process, dyeing process, printing process and finishing process. These equipment included copper plate singeing machine, gas singeing machine, slack washing machine, full-width scouring machine, vertical pressure kier, horizontal pressure kier, bleaching cistern, chemicking machine, dye jigger, copper black machine, Naphtol dyeing machine, rotary printing machine, hot air tenter machine, calender machine and schreiber calender. It not only introduced the main structure of these equipments, but also analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of different devices.
