Two low yield-strength ratio and fire-resistant steels used for high-rise building were obtained by the optimum of alloying elements and TMCP technology. It was found that the yield-strength ratio of steel composed of polygonal ferrite and bainite is lower than that of ferrite and pearlite, and Mo is a effective alloying element to increase the high temperature strength of steel.
