摘要

Based on the review on studies in computer-assisted language learning (CALL) in literature, this paper discusses the status quo of CALL and different perspectives related to teacher and students' engagement in CALL activities in China, finally suggests a long-term and a short term prospect guiding the understanding of teacher and students' development in a Chinese CALL context.
