Although VR plays an important role in architectural design of urban areas, it takes long time and much effort to make 3D models. Now that almost all buildings will be designed as BIM data, people would think BIM data should be used directly for VR. However, since BIM data is huge, the frame per second (FPS) rate is significanlty low in VR if there are number of buildings. Simple application of polygon reduction would just destroy 3D models.
