Rough statements are possible on basis of existing studies/data: The requirement for storage increases and a mix of technological options will prospectively be applied; A first ranking of options can be derived for various tasks already today; Analysis of energy systems with high share of renewable energies should be extended; Framework conditions should be improved already today in order to foster the development of the respective technologies adequately.
