In the high temperature of fire environment, thermal radiation is the main reason that causes firemen' s burns. Therefore, the materials performance of antithermal radiation and heat insulation is of great importance to firemen. This paper mainly described the heat transfer mechanism and its impact on fireproof fabrics, analyzed the development of antithermal radiation and heat insulation materials and put forward researching ideas of materials under strong thermal radiation. It pointed out that inorganic fibers with high-temperature resistance can be used as base fabric of outer fireproof layer. Materials with high infrared reflectivity and absorption can be used as outer fabrics, giving a property of anti-heat radiation. It can be explored to use nano-porous thermal insulation composite material as insulating layer.
