The study about the relationship between executive turnover and corporate performance has been an important issue in western countries. Based on the data of family listed companies,this paper examines the relationship between executive turnover and corporate performance by means of event studies and regression analysis. The conclusion is that good or bad performance of listed companies has no significant effect on executive turnover.However, executive turnover is significantly and positively related to firm performance,and can reduce the sensitivity of post corporate performance to preperformance.Our conclusion can deeply strengthen companies’internal control mechanism,and promote the harmonious development of market economy.
