There are lots of gaseous pollutants in the flue gas from energy material burning, which could be oxidized by OH radical. The experimental investigation on OH (A~2∑~+→X~2 II) emission in a corona radical shower system was reported in this work. OH distribution and production in the system were investigated under different additional gases. Depending on the selection of Ar or O_2 as the additional gas, OH (A) radical generation was observed to be significantly enhanced or suppressed, respectively, in terms of emission intensity, and H_2O content in the additional gas could effect OH generation obviously.
