To study the connection between the insulating property of the external wall or window and the heat comfortability index PMV, a numerical simulation was conducted on a radiator heating room. The results shows that, 1) the heat comfortability index PMV when the heat transfer coefficient of the external window is 6.40w/(m~2·k) and the heat transfer coefficient of the external wall is 1.280, 1.024, 0.768, 0.60, 0.512, 0.390, 0.256 w/(m~2·k) separately, and the curve about the PMV and the heat transfer coefficient of the external wall is obtained; 2) the heat comfortability index PMV when the heat transfer coefficient of the external wall is 2.80w/(m~2·k) and the heat transfer coefficient of the external window is 6.400, 5.120, 3.840, 2.800, 2.560, 2.100, 1.280 w/(m~2·k) separately, and the curve about the PMV and the heat transfer coefficient of the external window is obtained.
