Electrochemical sensors based on tubular yttria-stabilized zerconia (YSZ) with the perovskite-type oxide as a sensing-electrode (SE), which is prepared by sol-gel method, were fabricated and examined for NO_2 detection in the temperature range 673~973K. The results show that La_(0.75)Sr_(0.25)Cr_(0.5)Mn_(0.5)O_3, shows extreme sensitivity to NO_2. The EMF varies linearly as a function of the concentration of NO_2 (0~ 463 ppm) at 773K.
