摘要

LiNiVO_4 is one of the most promising cathode materials due to its high cell voltage of 4.8V. In this study, LiNiVO_4 was prepared by the sol gel method. LiCH_3COO.2H_2O, Ni (CH_3COO)_2.4H_2O and NH_4VO_3 were used as the staring reactants. The total weight loss was 69.07% from the TGA result which agrees with the reaction mechanism proposed in this work. The product was successfully obtained at 750°C for 5h by sintering process. XRD studies for the treated sample confirms the formation of highly crystalline LiNiVO_4.
