Greener and cheaper batteries containing fluorine-free binder in combination with ionic liquid based electrolytes

Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO.4) displays high stability of the capacity during prolonged cycling, it is environmentally friendly, it has excellent thermal stability, it is cheap and safe (1-3). For these characteristics, is today considered as a very attractive cathodic materials and a promising candidate for the development of greener and safer batteries.
