The detonation in the wireless telecommunication market has resulted in a series of opportunities and challenges for the companies in the sector. After a phenomenal growth for over a decade, the mobile sector is now eager to find what is next to spur in a flagging market. The ever-picking up technological innovations in this industry makes the competition stiffer and the first mover reaps maximum benefit. Mobile manufacturers are now keen to get the edge in an increasingly competitive market, where any more big mistakes could be their undoing. Against this backdrop of edginess, a case study has been made on a UK based wireless telecommunication company to identify their global market expansion strategies. The research has applied SWOT analysis along with findings of TOWS matrix which had identified alternate strategies that can be adopted and the challenges faced by the company.
