Performance analysis of MNMR state estimator considering PMU data

The MNMR state estimator for power system, based on the theory of uncertainty, has a good performance of robustness. However, the PMU data, as an indispensable measurement in modern power system, is not applied to the MNMR estimator explicitly. In this paper, the impact of PMU data on the robustness and precision of MNMR estimator is analyzed theoretically. Then, the PMU data of voltage phasor, voltage and current phasor are introduced respectively and the performance of MNMR estimator is investigated. Meanwhile, in the case of considering the PMU data of voltage and current phasor, the impact of zero-current injection constraints on MNMR estimator is analyzed. Simulation results show that the precision of MNMR estimator is improved by taking account of the zero-current injection constraints. Furthermore, the introduction of PMU data can improve the precision and robustness of MNMR estimator effectively.
