Analysis on the influence of a road tunnel caused by huge excavation in the tunnel protection area

Safety evaluation on excavation to nearby tunnels is important for the design of foundation pit in the tunnel protection area in cities. Based on the research of others, the soil modulus of resilience is analyzed, which can be used in the three - dimensional FEM calculation on environment influence caused by excavation. In the safety evaluation on the pit engineering nearby operating road tunnels, the tunnel internal force and deformation caused by the excavation is estimated and advice is suggested.
