A Study on Corporate Stakeholder Culture Modes

摘要

Based on the relationship between business ethics and economy, this paper puts forward to four structural stakeholder culture modes: utilitarian mode, strategic mode, ethical mode, and convergent mode. Based on contradictive relationship between ethics and economy, i.e. uneconomic ethics, utilitarian mode develops amoral economy. And based on conforming relationship between ethics and economy, i.e. economic ethics, strategic mode focuses on strategic stakeholders' claims so as to achieve corporate economic performance. Based on conforming relationship between economy and ethics, i.e. ethical economy, ethical mode focuses on broad stakeholders' claims in order to realize broadly triple SEE performance: economic performance, social performance, and environmental performance. While based on mutual conforming relationships between ethics and economy, i.e. economic ethics and ethical economy, convergent mode focuses on both strategic stakeholders' and ethical stakeholders' legitimate claims so as to gain relatively narrow SEE performance: economic performance, stakeholder performance, and environmental performance. And the purpose of convergent mode is to achieve value maximization and healthily sustainable development of stakeholder corporation system.
