Bupleurum extract supplementation improves lactation performance in heat-stressed lactating dairy cows

Introduction Herbal feed additives have been gradually paid attention to ameliorating negative effects of high ambient temperature and improving production (Wang et al.,2008) (Yu et al.,2011) (Dong et al.,2012),while few herbal feed additives are effective on improving lactation production in heat-stressed cows.Consequently,it is essential to develop new effective herbal feed additives for heat-stressed cows.
