Ensures a safe, reliable supply of electricity over the long-term by improving the flow of electricity in the Mid- Atlantic Region. Increases power import/export capability within the Delmarva Peninsula by more than 1,000 MW giving the Grid greater access to off-shore wind. Will enable expanded offshore wind projects to export energy both north and west of the Delmarva Peninsula.
