LPG NEWBUILDING SITE TEAM SUPERVISION TRAINING: AN OPTIONAL EXTRA?

A well trained shipyard site team will benefit the construction of an LPG carrier from both the owner and shipbuilders perspective, the owner by ensuring the quality and operability of the LPG carrier, the shipbuilder by having expert inspectors who work together as a team in partnership with the shipyard thereby ensuring that the production process runs smoothly with minimum disruption. The increased demand for shipbuilding worldwide, entrance of new shipbuilding countries and the demand for qualified resources led RINA to develop a series of training courses for owner's newbuilding site teams.
