We recorded event-related potentials (ERPs) by electroencephalograms (EEGs) while subjects were performing selections of an answer. The sub-jects were seven normal university students. They were asked to add double figures and select an answer from the two choices. Choices were of two types; Type1 was correct choice including the correct answer, and Type2 was approximation choice without the correct answer. Moreover, we classified the Type2 into the following cases according to presenta-tion types. The cases were Type2A: the answer was smaller than choices, Type2B: the answer was between choices, and Type2C: the answer was bigger than choices. We analyzed by using the equivalent current dipole source localization (ECDL) to compare brain activities in the meantime.
