Students who do not consider libraries to be relevant to their academic endeav-ors have to be persuaded/attracted through targeting them as individuals and developing services that are a mix of information and entertainment. The present paper is based on the perceptions of some academic librar-ians, the findings of a number of studies conducted over a period of three to four years and the assessment of the library scenario of the university under study.
