摘要

We investigated how the molecular weight distribution of acrylic resin synthesized by the RAFT method affects physical and aesthetic properties of organic coatings. 1. The RAFT sample showed more extensive crosslinking, higher crosslinking reaction rate and density, and improved appearance due to its narrower molecular weight distribution compared to the FRP sample. 2. We can conclude that a narrower molecular weight distribution of acrylic resins positively affects their organic coating properties, judging from the differences in the curing behavior and crosslinking density, and optical appearance, which are a direct result of the increase in the chain uniformity.
