Simulation of a Tubular Piezoelectric Vibrator Gyroscope

The gyroscopic characteristics of a tubular piezoelectric ceramic is considered. The piezoelectric tubes have been applied to triaxial mechanical sensors and actuators]!]. Here the demonstration is extended to the case of the gyroscope. Present paper describes the 3D finite element simulations. The numerical results are experimentally verified.
