摘要

The importance of the role of precursor in the growth of multi-walled carbon nanotubes by thermal chemical vapor deposition was evidenced. This is done by comparing the morphology and structural properties of MWCNTs synthesized using different precursor from palm oil and palm DHSA catalyzed by Fe/Ni/Mn trimetallic catalyst at different deposition temperature. The results of analyses were carried out by field-emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM) and transmission electron microscope (TEM) which focused on the graphitization behavior of the synthesized MWCNTs.
