An X-ray Radiography System for Pipe-Welding based on Flat-Panel Detector

摘要

The weld inspecting by X-ray radiography is an indispensable process for manufacturing and producing pressure vessel and piping. As the development of digitization, X-ray inspecting is evolving towards digitization. This paper presents some characters of X-ray radiography systems based on flat-panel detector for pipe-weld inspecting, which is integrated independently in our lab. Experiment studies of X-ray radiography systems indicate that a flat-panel detector can replace X-ray film in radiographic applications to obtain high image quality, and image intensifiers and TV cameras in fluoroscopic applications to achieve faster inspection.
