摘要

In the paper, results of dynamic destructive investigations on a masonry building in natural scale were presented. The object was tested and identified dynamically in the state before damage, after damage and just after repair using the Flexible Joint Method (FJM). The building was forced by use of a modal hammer and the Vibrosejs, which generated harmonic vibrations at the soil surface near the building. Obtained results were presented in the frequency band of 5-50 Hz. The results of the investigations demonstrated effectiveness of the Flexible Joint Method, as the innovative repair method, introducing in cracked masonries new ductility and capacity to allow the structure survive an earthquake.
