Several strategies to promote axon regeneration at the injury site have been tested, but the progress is very limited. Fabricating linearly ordered materials as nerve guidance would be important to solve such problems. In this study, a novel type of nerve guidance material was prepared from crystalline poly (1-lactic acid) (PLLA) scaffold with microtubules orientation structure. In vitro P19 stem cells differentiation onto the scaffold results show that these conditions provide tubular morphology for evaluating P19 stem cell differentiation into neuron cells that confirmed by im-nlunofluresence staining technique, and for use as a platform for neural tissue engineering applications.
