Construction and Tests of Swimming Vehicle With Diesel-Hydraulic Power Transmission Feed, Assigned for Special Operation Forces (SOF)

Since the Special Operation Forces have existed, the need for fast movement capability existed also. All the time vehicles used by SOF had to have the ability of carrying some soldiers, their equipment and ability to leave the airdrop area in the fastest way. The main aim of the article authors was the design and development of the Light Multipurpose Vehicle, as an armament and the equipment carrier for the Special Operation Forces units. In this article the design and the tests of the prototype vehicle are presented.
