Investigation into Logistics Outsourcing Supplier Selection for Automobile Manufacturers

摘要

Automobile manufacturers generally pursue an automotive logistics outsourcing strategy on account of fierce competition across the automotive industry. Focusing on automakers' selection of automotive logistics outsourcing suppliers, this paper analyzes the characteristics of the logistics demand of an automaker by establishing a performance index system for an automotive logistics supplier as well as an evaluation model for the same supplier based on fuzzy AHP. A case study is also conducted as a beneficial reference for the automaker to select an appropriate logistics service provider.
