FINANCING WIND FARM PROJECTS: A NEW CHALLENGE - (PPT)

The 2008 financial crisis has brought new challenges for the wind industry, which needs substantial capital amounts to finance its development and the creation of new power generation capacity. During the same period, renewable energies gained more political support than ever and, for the first time, attracted more investment in new power generation capacity than fossil energy technologies. The purpose of our presentation is to explain the consequences of the credit crunch on the wind industry and to explore probable financing developments in the years to come.
