Prey Preference of Three Predatory Stonefly Species under a Low-Activity Condition

We experimentally studied the predation preference of three predatory stonefly species(Oyamia lugubris,Paragnetina tinctipennis,and Kamimuria tibialis)for four prey items in winter when physiological activities of animals decrease.Under low-temperature conditions,Oyamia showed high preference for all prey items.Higher preference of Oyamia for all prey items may be related to the presence of large-bodied individuals of Oyamia observed only in winter.
