A Field Programmable Gate Array is an integrated circuit designed to be configured and implemented any logical function. Recently, the use of an FPGA becomes a suited way to implement real time signal processing systems because of the increasing number of logic elements and clock frequencies. However the real time processing requires high speed, high precision and wide dynamic range which is necessary to use RAM for store and computation. This article presents an external SDRAM embedded broad for memory optimization system to implement the speech signal based on FPGA. The external 128 Mb SDRAM embedded broad is designed on two layers PCB to work with Xilinx FPGA module.
