This paper will provide an overview of three of the basic and advanced epidemiology courses offered via online learning at the College of Public Health, University of South Florida. The focus of this paper will be on the instructional methodologies, assessment techniques and interactive components of these courses. The subject area for these courses is in basic and advanced epidemiology. The three courses lead to a Master of Public Health curriculum and form the foundational knowledge in Epidemiology. These courses share similar characteristics of the instructional, peer and technical support. Each course has its own unique course structure as a result of the level of specialization and instructional objectives that they course demands.
